I sew because: I'm trying to be sustainable in my love of clothes, and creative in my love of sustainaility.
Dilemma: Muslin, at least for me, means too many steps between beginning and end...in other words, never finising (at least in my book.) Plus, theres all this wasted fabric...
BUT, No one can make a perfect garment the first time around. In fact, the fear of not acheiving perfection is what kept me from going for it years ago.
Answer: the wearable toile!
