Why, it's a Zafu made from a repurposed bedsheet and hommade stuffing from fabric scraps, of course! Because the only proper response to getting older is getting wiser and more contemplative.

Yeah, I know, its a little lumpy- When the receiver of this ob d' jour sees me next, I'll be bringing some organic buckwheat hulls or kamut along (whatever that is) to re-stuff this think so its done right. To my amazement, I could't find any in Berkeley or San Franciso by the pound, so had to make do and mend.
One idea I tried out I think may be a good one- because the fabric was thin and wearing down, I interfaced teh top and bottom, where there would be the most pressure with iron-on interfacing. It wasn't too thick though to change the nice hand of the cotton sheet.
