I was really excited that Tasia designed a blouse pattern, since I've been wanting to make tops from the very beginning of my sewing adventure. (I especially love the knit version on the left.) I stalled on buying it, though because I may be a lot of things, but I'm not pear shaped....it seemed a little silly to get something that was designed for the exact opposite type of figure. But then, Funnygrrl demonstrated that it might look alright on another figure type. I love this silver version.

And I was lured in by the combined effect of sew along pressure and the fact that this thing has NO CLOSURES! It just slips on! So far, closures have been holding me up on all of my top projects.
So, I just got it in the mail- I dont know how it shipped so fast from CANADA, but anyway, Im excited.
For my token wearable muslin, Im doing this poly chiffon.
I'll either do view A, if I have enough fabric, or otherwise view C. (I only bought 2 yards of it or so- I was sure A shirt wouldnt take so much, but I guess I was wrong!
Im hoping that this will do triple duty- muslin a possible TNT shell pattern, teach me how to FBA, and teach me to use the dreaded slippery fabrics that my machine likes to eat.
I'm cutting a size 10, graded down to a 6 in the hips. (I told you I wasn't a pear!)

I'm glad that you liked my version of the Pendrell! I love the top. Can't wait to have the other versions sewn up too.
