I'm having trouble loading the palette I created, so here's something close-
I've been into the combination of turquoise and coral for a while. (An artist friend of mine has suggested red jasper is an even better red for this combo.)
I'd forgotten about this discussion until I saw this:

I think it's stunning.
Some might say GREY is conservative, given how I usually dress, but I worry about the wearability of my planned garments quite a lot, and there is a comfortable uniform quality to grey.
(from the sartorialist)I think it's a four season color (at least in a place that is never that warm), and it goes so well with bright accents--- like this:

(and bonus, I have a lot of it in my stash.)
And, because I feel the need to redefine myself as rock'n'roll in a hippie, earthy town, and because there has never been enough of it in my wardrobe, BLACK

Though I might look for gunmetal, or other lighter blacks with some colored undertones, to help it go with other neutrals.

I like the turquoise with red look you shared.
ReplyDeleteI'm on that challenge too, I'll keep an eye on your garments... =)
Nice! what's your color scheme for the spring?
ReplyDeleteChocolate for the main piece, and hot pink -or coral- light blue, off white, and olive green for smaller garments.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds rad! I think chocolate goes with everything.
