The new Frock by Friday is the Anda from Burdastyle. I voted for it, but now am having second thoughts. I hardly like any of the finished versions online, with a few exceptions...

What these versions have in common is...nothing. I like the bold graphic prints on the first two, the lack of waist on one and 3 and the length and solid color-ness of 3. But this is not helping me with my own fabric selection at all.
The suggestions from Kathleen are to use something really lightweight, like "Cotton lawn, duponi silk, sari silk, Egyptian cotton, silky rayons, or a thin linen perhaps with a patterned bias tape trim"...dang- the tara dress fabric would have done nicely for this.
The suggestions on the pattern instructions are linen, viscose-rayons, and crepe fabrics.Indeed, I have some royal purple/blue rayon or something that's in my stash- I have no idea where its from, its shiny and floppy just like the sample garment Burdastyle made to illustrate their pattern.
But I like the stiff dresses like the ones above- and Ive never really worn floppy dresses...especially shiny ones...(they leave nothing to the imagination, if you know what I mean...) Plus I was all about some bold prints...
What to do? Use the free stuff? or maybe go shopping again!?
Anyone who can guess which one it'll be gets a prize!
