I bought this fabric on a whim when I was taking a class on copying ready made clothing. We drafted a pattern together and i cut it out, but hadn't gotten around to sewing---I kept misplacing my ballpoint needles, feeling insecure about which zig-zag stitch to try, and generally avoiding the whole thing.
Finally, I sat down and banged it out-turned out. I didn't need a serger, a ballpoint needle, or any particular zigzag stich- (have one of those 90's machines that has a million embroidery variants that confuse things) I tried a few, and just went with one of them at random, basically.
And mere moments later...

The neckline on this design is fabulous- here's another pic:

It was a revalation! it was a little harder to trace/cut knit fabric than a woven, but sewing was no different, and the lack of closure, darts, peices, finishing of edges...I couldnt believe how easy it was to make something wearable. Self Stitched September here I come!
(and ill-fitting concert T-shirts, watch out... you may not be alive much longer...)

awesome!
